Ghost in the Shell Unveils Two New IMAX Posters

The Ghost in the Shell live-action film is taking cue from the source material with these two IMAX posters. One of the posters feature Scarlett Johansson’s The Major as she jumps into action while the other poster shows the creepy looking robotic geisha from the trailers.

We are only a little over a month away before Rupert Sanders’s live-action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell hits theaters, so Paramount is already starting promotion for their IMAX release with some amazing new posters. The first poster re-enacts the moment during the first trailer where The Major crashes into a window with guns blazing to take out some bad guys in style. The second one gives a close-up shot of the strange Robo Geisha that has been a part of some of the early marketing for the film.

Based on the acclaimed manga and anime, the sci-fi feature focuses on the Major, a special ops agent who is also a human/cyborg hybrid leading an elite task force. Devoted to taking down the most dangerous criminals and extemists, Section 9 must take out a mysterious enemy who is out to destroy Hanka Robotics from advancing further in the technological field in this futuristic world.

What do you guys think of the IMAX posters? Are you excited to see this or do you prefer the anime? Ghost in the Shell is scheduled to release on March 31, 2017.
