GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) Movie Image: Brand-New Retro Ride

Ghosbusters Car Revealed

Ghostbusters Movie Image. The Ghostbusters news just doesn’t stop. Director Paul Feig has been on a roll, tweeting out image after image. We’ve had a look at the costumes, the proton pack, and now this new, old-fashioned car. It seems like Feig is doing whatever he can to appease fans of the 1980s classic, telling us, “hey, listen. It’s going to be alright. Doesn’t all this stuff look good?” And yes, Paul. It looks great. I’m getting more and more curious about the actual movie, though. Too bad we have to wait until 2016 for that.

The latest image Feig has tweeted into the world is the old familiar car used by the Ghostbusters. It looks great! It’s a hearse, the license plate is correct, and all sorts of practical, mechanical gadgetry is going on within and around it. I’m pleased.

What do you guys think? Is all this fan-service getting on your nerves? Is it working for you? So far I’m fairly pleased with all of the output. The major do-or-die point will be some actual footage, though, giving us a sense of the tone and how successful all of this has or hasn’t been pulled off. I’m guessing that’s still quite a while away, though.

Ghostbusters will star Kristen WiigMelissa McCarthy, Chris Hemsworth, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Mark Burzenski. Ghostbusters will be released on July 22, 2016.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
