Thomas Middleditch Joins The Cast Of Godzilla: King Of The Monsters

Emmy Award-nominated Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch will play a role in the upcoming monster movie sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

In addition to starring on the popular HBO series, Middleditch has had guest roles on series’ like The League, The Office, Key & Peele, and Comedy Bang! Bang! On the film front, he has played minor characters in projects like The Rebound, Being Flynn, The Campaign, and The Wolf of Wall Street. Additionally, he has lent his voice to Kong: Skull Island and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.

It’s unknown what exactly his role will be in the new Godzilla movie, but several of his co-stars have already been revealed. Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe will reprise their roles from the original 2014 film, while Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, and Vera Farmiga will also appear. Directing the follow-up is Michael Dougherty.

The previous Godzilla film, directed by Gareth Edwards, brought in $529 million at the global box office and starred Aaron Johnson. Elizabeth Olsen, and Bryan Cranston.

Dougherty is also writing King of the Monsters, which has not yet revealed official plot details. Legendary previously announced, however, the addition of several more famous Toho kaiju, including Rodan, Mothra, and King Ghidorah.
