GOTHAM: First Look at Nathan Darrow as Mr. Freeze [Fox]

New Images of Mr. Freeze on Gotham. It’s about to get chilly in Gotham as Fox released some images giving us our first look at House of Cards’ Nathan Darrow as Victor Fries, or which fans may know as classic Batman villain Mr. Freeze. Take a look at the images of the villain in costume.

During tonight’s fall finale, Gotham will introduce viewers to the origins of Victor Fries, a doctor who is trying to find a cure for his ailing wife Nora. The series’ small screen take on the character will delve intro the man’s past and we will be seeing him with his trademark freeze gun, which you can see here in these images. We will see Victor Fries sorking for Wayne Enterprises as a cryonics engineer, which makes sense for what this character specializes in and what he will do to the future Dark Knight.

According to USA Today, we will only be getting glimpses of Victor before his full story unfolds when Gotham returns from it’s winter hiatus on February 29. Talking about his character, Darrow says:

Victor has one central intimate human connection, and that’s with his wife. There’s something really, really interesting and vulnerable and difficult about that. Of course, that is threatened by her illness. In some of the research I did on the character as he has evolved in the comic book, he has a more tenuous connection with humanity and his own humanity, and she’s it. He is applying all his talents and skills and energies to maintaining that.
