GOTHAM: Jada Pinkett Smith to Reprise Role of Fish Mooney in Season Two [Fox]

Jada Pinkett-Smith Fish Mooney Gotham

Jada Pinkett-Smith Returning as Fish Mooney in Season Two of Gotham. The fish is coming out of the water as Jada Pinkett-Smith is set to reprise her role as Fish Mooney in multiple episodes of Gotham’s second season. Still no word though on how the crime boss will return.

TVLine exclusively reported that Jada Pinkett-Smith signed on to bring back her character Fish Mooney for multiple episodes of Gotham when the FOX series returns from its winter break. The last time we saw Fish was during the season one finale when Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) pushed his former boss down her watery grave. Showrunner Bruno Heller teased that Fish may live to see another day soon. “I would definitely not assume anything in a town like Gotham,” the EP advised. “It’s very unpredictable, the comic book world.”

The report also hinted that Fish’s return might have something to do with the experiments running at Indian Hill. Perhaps we may see a connection between her and Hugo Strange, who is being played by B.D. Wong. However it’s still unclear as to how the villainess will make her return. What do you guys think of Fish Mooney coming back to Gotham?
