Gotham May Bring The Joker Before the Season Finale. Gotham has introduced to viewers many of Batman’s classic villains from The Penguin to The Riddler, but the one fans are waiting for is The Joker. Well, we may be getting our wish this season according to EP Bruno Heller.

Fox’s Batman prequel series has been slowly developing many of the villains, so it wouldn’t be long until the Clown Prince himself might show up. Bruno Heller spoke with TVGuide that The Joker’s introduction could actually take place before the end of the season. “We’ve said you’re going to be waiting a bit longer for it, but this is America – nobody wants to wait,” the showrunner told the outlet. “So, we will scratch the surface of that story, yes. But just scratch it — a little tap on the door.”

Based on what he said, we are guessing that Heller is prepping for The Joker’s arrival by season’s end. During Gotham’s freshman season, we were given some teases on the character’s appearance, but now it seems that we may get an introduction to The Joker.
