GRAVITY (2013) ‘Detachment’ Movie Clip: Sandra Bullock Spins in Space

Sandra Bullock Gravity

Gravity Clip. Alfonso Cuarón‘s Gravity (2013) movie clip entitled Detachment stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. This Gravity clip is pretty exciting and shows one of the key disasters the crew of the space shuttle mission has to endure. The ending of the clip seems to spell doom for Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) – think the out-gassing on the asteroid in Deep Impact.

Gravity‘s plot synopsis: “Dr. Ryan Stone (Bullock) is a medical engineer on her first Space Shuttle mission and is accompanied by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney), who is in command of the shuttle flight, due to be his last. During a spacewalk, the space shuttle is destroyed, and Stone and Kowalsky are stranded in space with no communications with Earth…tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they’ve lost any link to Earth… and any chance for rescue.”
