The Great Wall International Trailer

The international movie trailer for The Great Wall (2016) has been released. This particular trailer is almost nine minutes long and features a Chinese voice-over for its majority. Saying that the trailer includes new scenes is an understatement (even-though it is a collection of multiple trailers in one). This trailer, unlike the previous trailers, shows the viewer the different sections of the army (color coded for some reason) that are fighting as one. Each section has a different task during the battle.

The trailer breaks down the leader of each section and details why they are fighting.

The viewer also sees that the creatures attacking The Great Wall of China have green blood (for the PG-13 rating).

The Great Wall‘s plot synopsis: “Set in the Northern Song Dynasty, [the film focuses on the] …mystery centered around the construction of the Great Wall of China.”

Yimou Zhang‘s The Great Wall stars Matt Damon, Eddie Peng, Willem Dafoe, Kenny Lin, Pedro Pascal, Andy Lau, Tian Jing, Numan Acar, and Hanyu Zhang.
