Halle Berry will play Frankie and Alice

Halle Berry is set to star in a new drama called Frankie and Alice, which comes out in 2009. Frankie and Alice is a drama “centered on a young woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles to remain her true self and not give in to her racist alter-personality.” This sounds like an intriguing plot, especially since Halle is half white and half black. I’m sure this played a part in Halle Berry signing on for the staring role as it will be a challenge for her to balance what she is really feeling and what her characters are feeling. Halle Berry is definitely rare for coming back from giving birth in the shape she has. Let’s hope she is given a Oscar-caliber script in the future like Hilary Swank has been given.
