Chan-wook Park is an auteur (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, I’m a Cyborg But That’s OK) and his latest film is full of beautiful visuals. Though the official trailers, these trailers are more teaser trailers than traditional trailers with exposition, plot development, etc. Perhaps that is because the film is in a foreign language. Perhaps it was do to suspense, wanting to keep the frivolities of the storylines as much a surprise as possible.
