HARRY POTTER: Upcoming Quidditch Film and More Are a Possibility

The Harry Potter film franchise might be expanded with a movie about Quidditch. The rumour has it that J. K. Rowling might be adapting more of her books about her magical universe. The adaptation of ‘Quidditch Through the Ages’ is the latest, most discussed, and likely possibility.

After the announcement of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Harry Potter fans became euphoric. The plans of Warner Bros. Pictures about additional Harry Potter films arrive as another wonderful surprise. The possibility that J. K. Rowling might be writing the film herself after she is done with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them additionally raises the excitement and the hype.

Quidditch proved to be an incredibly cinematic sport. The scenes in the five Harry Potter films, in which we witnessed Quidditch action, were always breathtaking. The way the camera followed the players with their flapping capes as they were flying at great speed through beautiful landscapes, surrounded by countless cheering fans, was remarkable.

Warner Bros have already acquired the rights for several trademarks from Rowling. This means that the movie-adaptations of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages might not be the only Harry Potter films we will see in the near future. For instance, there are unconfirmed rumours that Newt Scamander (the protagonist of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) will get his own franchise later on.  

J. K. Rowling has already made attempts to leave her magical world but apparently she is only beginning to rediscover it in a different setting with a different character. Imagine a whole new Harry Potter-like series, which conquers the world with originality and emotions. All we can do is to wait for the wonders that J. K. Rowling has prepared for us.
