Sylvester Stallone Arnold Schwarzenegger Escape Plan

Jesus, Cardinal Wolsey, Rambo and The Terminator walk into a bar…Entertainment One has announced its plans to bring Mikael Hafström‘s action flick Escape Plan to home theaters February 25, 2014. The film stars Sylvester Stallone as a security expert hired to break out of maximum security prisons to identify their weaknesses. He is double crossed and imprisoned in a prison he helped to design by a hard knock warden (Jim Caviezel). He teams up with a long-timer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to formulate an escape plan. The film also stars Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Vinnie Jones.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Cartoon Network have joined forces to bring Adventure Time: The Complete Third Season to DVD and Blu-ray on February 25, 2014. The release will feature all 26 episodes of Cartoon Network’s #1 rated Emmy-nominated show. Adventure Time stars Jeremy Shada as the voice of Finn, a boy with an unusual hat, and his best friend and dog Jake, voiced by John DiMaggio, as they set off on one magical adventure after another in the mystical world of the Land of Ooo. The release will contain a special season three featurette as well as audio commentary.

Jude Law is Don Hemingway and you’re not. So there. Lionsgate Films UK has revealed its intentions to release Richard Shepard‘s comedy Don Hemingway on Blu-ray and DVD March 3, 2014. Jude Law stars as the title character, a Cockney safe-cracker who is released from prison after a 12-year stint. He heads to the South of France to collect a reward from mob boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Bichir) for doing his time without snitching. He and his sidekick Dickie (Richard A. Grant) get into one caper after another involving women and wine while Don tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter (Emilia Clarke).

Sissy Spacek‘s iconic performance as country music legend, Loretta Lynn, will have the opportunity to entrance a new generation of viewers when Universal Studios Home Entertainment releases the biopic Coal Miner’s Daughter on Blu-ray January 7, 2014. The world-renown biopic also stars Tommy Lee Jones as her husband, Beverly D’Angelo, and Levon Helm. Based upon the best-selling autobiography of the same name, the film garnered an astounding seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture; Spacek won the Best Actress award that year for her portrayal of Lynn’s rise from a poor Appalachian housewife to the undisputed Queen of Country Music. The Blu-ray release will feature commentary with Spacek and director Michael Apted, an interview with the director and Loretta Lynn, a salute from President George H. W. Bush to AFI and Coal Miner’s Daughter, and Tommy Lee Jones Remembers Coal Miner’s Daughter.

Director Paul Crowder‘s Formula One documentary 1 will hit the small screen January 28, 2014. Golden Globe-nominated actor Michael Fassbender narrates this look at the glory years of Formula One racing when the best drivers rivaled Hollywood celebrities and lived just as fast as they drove—and often paid the price for living on the edge. Crowder examines the tastemakers and the game changers in the fastest sport on four wheels.
