#Horror Trailer. Tara Subkoff‘s #Horror (2015) movie trailer stars Chloë SevignyTimothy HuttonNatasha Lyonne and Taryn Manning#Horror‘s plot synopsis: “Inspired by actual events, a group of 12 year old girls face a night of horror when the compulsive addiction of an online social media game turns a moment of cyber bullying into a night of insanity.”

This is an awesome surprise. This is a trailer that gets me excited. I can see what kind of things are being played around with here, but something just seems really fresh about this. Though its just a simple independent IFC horror film, its seems colorful, loud, and capable. The fact that kids are stabbing each other to death also adds quite a bit of dread to the whole thing. Essentially – I’ll be seeing this movie at the IFC theater and am pretty excited. I like several elements in the trailer and am really curious to see how well-built the movie is as a whole.

According to DreadCentral, “#Horror is coming out theatrically on Friday, November 20th, in New York and Los Angeles and will also be available On Demand” and “Fashion line creator and actor Tara Subkoff makes her feature-length directorial debut with the film, which she also wrote.” Good stuff!

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
