HOSTEL 3 (2011) Movie Trailer: Scott Spiegel, Eli Roth

Hostel Part 2

Hostel 3 Trailer. Scott Spiegel‘s Hostel: Part III (2011) movie trailer, produced by Eli Roth, stars Thomas Kretschmann, Kip Pardue, John Hensley, Sarah Habel, and Barry Livingston. Hostel: Part 3‘s plot synopsis: “High stakes gambling takes on a sinister new meaning in this third chapter of the terrifying HOSTEL series. While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town.”

The first Hostel was good but I wish the original, more brutal ending had not been excised from the film. The second and third acts of Hostel: Part II were a disappointment but I liked what Eli Roth tried to do with the film. With Hostel: Part III, the Elite Hunting Club seems to be breaking its own rules by letting people watch but not participate and criminally implicate themselves in the tortures and murders. The logic in that escapes me but illogical situations and rule breaking is The State of the American Horror Film.
