House M.D. Season 8’s plot synopsis: Season 8 of House  M.D. “will pick up a year after the May finale… with Dr. Gregory House is in prison”.

When season seven ended, House had slammed his car into Lisa Cuddy’s home which landed him in prison. David Shore confirmed to TV Line that the new season will pick up twelve months after the May finale which he said, “The advantage of going forward a year is that everything’s changed, and changed dramatically. ”

Along with House being in jail some of the changes in store for viewers is there will be a new Dean of Medicine, which hasn’t been revealed but it’s said to be someone fans know. Also two new doctors have been added to House’s team.

New cast members have been added to Season 8 of House M.D. as well:

Odette Annable and Charlyne Yi have been cast as series regulars in an attempt to fill the void left by Amber Tamblyn and Olivia Wilde. Not much is known about Yi’s role but Annable’s role is said to be someone whom House while he spent his time in prison.

House M.D. also stars Omar Epps, Robert Sean Leonard, Jesse Spencer, Peter Jacobson, Olivia Wilde, Tony Alameda, Michael Paré, and Michael Bailey Smith.
