HOWL (2015) Movie Trailer & Poster: English Werewolf Horror!

Howl Poster & Trailer

Howl Trailer. Paul Hyett‘s Howl (2015) movie trailer stars Ed Speleers, Holly Weston, Elliot Cowan, and Amit Shah. Howl‘s plot synopsis: “When passengers on a train are attacked by a creature, they must band together in order to survive until morning.”

Ladies and gentlemen, this looks like a horror movie worth watching! At first I thought this was yet another Allen Ginsberg movie, and that James Franco’s adaptation wasn’t enough for people. Then I realized this was a horror film, and was slightly disappointed in the look of it (it looks slightly made for TV), but I quickly got over that – this is a werewolf movie with actual gore, terror in people’s eyes, and a train stuck in the middle of the vast, English, moonlit countryside. That’s pretty goddamn exciting, and I’m so goddamn sold.

The look of the werewolf is pretty interesting. I’m glad they’re taking this somewhat seriously, making its presence truly terrifying, something you desperately need to get away from before it rips you to shreds. I also really appreciate the flickering lights illuminating its eyes for a split second. If this is the kind of terror this film is focusing on, I am over the moon. I’m also thrilled at the practical effects, aided by CGI, as opposed to the other way around. This is a creature I actually believe is in the same room as the actors, and that goes a long way. Take a look at the poster and the trailer below!

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
