Imperial Dreams Trailer. Malik Vitthal‘s Imperial Dreams (2014) movie trailer stars John Boyega, Rotimi and Glenn Plummer. Imperial Dreams‘ plot synopsis: “A 21-year-old reformed gangster’s devotion to his family and his future is put to the test when he is released from prison and returns to his old stomping grounds in Watts, Los Angeles.”

According to LiveForFilms, “John Boyega has been all over the place since a little film called Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released.

Now a film he made a while back, Imperial Dreams, is looking for a distributor. It was at the Sundance Film Festival a couple of years ago, where it won the Best of NEXT Audience Award.”

Imperial Dreams also stars Rotimi Akinosho, Keke Palmer, De’aundre Bonds, and Justin & Ethan Coach
