INTERSTELLAR: Film Returns To IMAX With Additional 12 Minutes of Footage

Interstellar Returns To IMAX With Added Footage. IMAX and AMC theatres are working together to bring Christopher Nolan’s 2014 epic space drama, Interstellar back to theatres. The one night only affair will take place on Saturday February 21st and following the film there will be an additional 12-minutes of never before seen behind the scenes footage. Those arriving early will also receive some “special Interstellar prints”.

Although movie studios are always looking for an easy way to squeeze a buck from consumers by offering slightly different edits of successful theatrical releases, Christopher Nolan is notorious for not delivering additional cuts of his film’s once they are completed. Interstellar fans on the fence about shelling out their hard eared cash for the additional footage will likely be able to hold out until the extra footage is added as a feature on the Blu-ray.
