IRON FIST: Carrie-Ann Moss to Reprise Jessica Jones Role in Series [Netflix]

Carrie-Ann Moss Jeri Hogarth

Carrie-Ann Moss to Return As Jeri Hogarth in Netflix’s Iron Fist. A familiar face is coming back to the MCU TV universe as Carrie-Ann Moss will be reprising her role of Jeri Hogarth in the upcoming Marvel series Iron Fist. The actress first played the lawyer in the series Jessica Jones.

The announcement was made on Marvel’s website as well as their Twitter page. “Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga,” says Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in.” With Jeri Hogarth coming in the picture, it appears she will be playing a substantial role in the street-level hero’s development and perhaps with ties to his family’s estate. She also made a cameo appearance in the second season of Daredevil, so it would be interesting to see her bridge the shows together.

“Danny Rand lives in the highest stratosphere of New York’s business society and he’s going to need a ruthless lawyer to help him navigate this alien world,” showrunner Scott Buck explains. “I’m very happy to have the opportunity to bring Carrie-Ann Moss as Jeri Hogarth into ‘Marvel’s Iron Fist.’”

Starring Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, the series is building up to be a perfect vehicle to launch the hero with connections with the other series on Netflix, which will hopefully culminate into the upcoming Defenders. Are you happy to see Carrie-Ann Moss return as Jeri Hogarth in Iron Fist? How involved in the series do you think she will be?
