IRON FIST: Finn Jones Says Season Two Announcement is Coming [Netflix]

Finn Jones Iron Fist Season Two Announcement

Iron Fist May Get Status on Second Season Renewal Soon

It’s been a while since Netflix released the Marvel series Iron Fist back in March, but we haven’t heard any news on a second season. Most of the other three shows including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage got picked up for more seasons, but nothing yet on the fourth Defender.

Chances for a second season on the immortal Iron Fist looks pretty good. During a recent convention (via SuperBroMovies’ Twitter), actor Finn Jones revealed that an announcement on a second season will be coming up shortly. Ever since Iron Fist came out, it’s been getting negative reactions from critics and fans. However, an online study revealed that viewership for the series was pretty strong, giving some hope that Netflix and Marvel may be satisfied with the turnout for the series. If you have seen the finale, you know that Danny will be taking on the Hand alongside the Defenders later this summer.

It seems like we may be getting another season of Danny Rand’s alter ego sometime soon. For now, we can still catch him in the upcoming miniseries The Defenders, which drops on Netflix in August. Speaking of The Defenders, we also learned that the miniseries would pick up a mere 48 hours after Iron Fist has ended its first season. At least there’s that to look forward to as we continue the adventures of Iron Fist.
