IRON MAN 2: Deleted Alternate Opening Scene

The deleted, alternate opening sequence to Iron Man 2 has been released. From the Iron Man 2 movie trailer, many will remember that Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) kisses Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.)’s Iron Man helmet and then throws it out the back of a plane yet the scene was missing from the film. “Director Jon Favreau has said that the sequence was removed because he wanted to give Robert Downey Jr. a big entrance, and the reveal of Stark on stage after landing worked better without the opening bit of comedy. There is actually a bunch more to the sequence that we didn’t see, including Iron Man and a toilet. Check out alternate, deleted opening scene for Iron Man 2 below and leave your thoughts on it.
