IRON MAN 3 (2013) Set Videos, IMAX 3D Opening for Disney / Marvel Film

Iron Man Set Videos, IMAX. New set videos for Iron Man 3 (2013) have been released as well as information on Iron Man 3‘s IMAX release. The set videos are from recent re-shoots near the TLC Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California. The IMAX news is not as good as it might seem on the surface. Iron Man 3 was not shot in IMAX or natively shot in 3D. That means the film will have to be post-converted to one or both formats. Iron Man 3 will also be released international before it is released domestically in the US. That is not a smart move in my opinion as the film will be heavily boot-legged between the international release and the domestic release.

Marvel’s Iron Man 3 marks the fourth Marvel Entertainment film to be presented in IMAX theatres, following the releases of Iron Man 2 in 2010, Thor in 2011 and Marvel’s The Avengers in 2012 – which all delivered record breaking performances in IMAX theatres.
