Edward Zwick‘s Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) movie trailer stars Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Robert Knepper, Aldis Hodge, and Holt McCallany. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back‘s plot synopsis: based on the novel by Lee Child, “Never Go Back “Jack Reacher returns to the headquarters of his old unit, only to find out he’s now accused of a 16-year-old homicide.”

Entertainment Tonight premiered the first trailer on their television program.

I never saw the first Jack Reacher film. It looked like a generic action film to me. The sequel to that film looks more interesting than the original film and may spur me (and others that have not watched the original film) to watch that film. Tom Cruise is an actor that gets offered everything, even Iron Man (which he passed on). When Jack Reacher came along, something in the script and the character clicked with Cruise, something said “I like this. I’m doing this film. I’m producing this film.” Hopefully the results of that prophetic urge will be on screen with Jack Reacher 2.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back also stars Sue-Lynn Ansari, Patrick Heusinger, Danika Yarosh, Teri Wyble, Chase Savoie, Steven Grossman, Allyson Leigh Jordan, Jason Douglas, Juan Gaspard, and Tilton Lipoma.
