Daniel Craig Officially Confirmed as James Bond in Bond 25

I don’t blame Daniel Craig for initially not wanting to come back to the Bond role. The last James Bond film, Spectre, was one of the worst James Bond films ever made. For all of its bluster, Spectre was an average R-rated film forced into an PG-13 box. The latter shoehorning caused Spectre to suffer in multiple ways. A Bond film really has to be bad to make Quantum of Solace look good but that was achieved with Spectre and then some.
With a two year break, Spectre was released in 2015, Daniel Craig had time to reflect on all that the James Bond franchise has done for him and his film career. Giving up playing Bond would be tantamount to Robert Downey Jr. giving up the Anthony Stark / Iron Man role, especially since Daniel Craig is still physically fit and able to play an MI6 agent of James Bond’s grade.
Most of the actors that have played Bond, besides George Lazenby, have played the role until they physically could not or it was decided that new blood was need.
No one believes that new blood is needed when it comes to Daniel Craig. No one blames Daniel Craig for Quantum of Solace or Spectre. Those films’ scripts were the problem.
Everyone wants another Skyfall or Casino Royale. With Daniel Craig playing James Bond once more, we just might get one.
