James Cameron Endorses Terminator Genisys in New Featurette. Oh Boy. James Cameron has officially endorsed the latest entry into the now half terrible/half perfect Terminator franchise.

His direct quote,

“If you like the Terminator films, you’re going to like this movie.”

Inspires confidence in those of us who care about his opinion on the quality of movies, and to those of us who still get suckered by marketing and promotional bullshit.

Look, James Cameron is a master filmmaker. His filmography speaks for itself, and nobody can take that away from him. But I’m tired of these bullshit ploys by gigantic corporations to lure unsuspecting audiences in and lie to their fanbase again. Terminator Genisys looks absolutely atrocious, and there’s no way this latest stunt is going to get me in theatres. I’ll wait for some reviews before lazily watching it in my underwear on a boring Sunday one year from now.
