Daniel Radcliffe stars in Jungle Trailer
Greg McLean‘s Jungle (2017) movie trailer stars Daniel Radcliffe, Thomas Kretschmann, Alex Russell, Lily Sullivan, and Jacek Koman. Jungle‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Yossi Ghinsberg, “In the early 1980s, 22-year-old Israeli backpacker Yossi Ghinsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) and two friends – Swiss teacher Marcus Stamm and American photographer Kevin Gale – set off from the Bolivian city of La Paz on what was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime. Leading the way into the uncharted Amazon was an Austrian expat named Karl Ruprechter, who had met the friends just days before and claimed to be familiar with the region. But their dream trip soon turned into a wilderness nightmare from which not all of the men returned.”
This film looks good. It would seem none of the adventurers in this film brought with them a map or compass. Also, no seems to be able to navigate by the stars yet they followed a stranger into the Amazon jungle. You couldn’t make this up. This really happened.
What Yossi Ghinsberg and his compatriots endured I wouldn’t have wished on anyone, yet like Katniss Everdeen, Ghinsberg never quit.
Greg McLean is a good director. I love what he did with Wold Creek. He has an inclusive eye for the environments of his films. That seems to hold true with Jungle.
Jungle also stars Yasmin Kassim, Luis Jose Lopez, Joel Jackson, Angie Milliken, Paris Moletti, and Joey Vieira.
