Lex Luthor and Queen Hippolyta Return in Justice League

Some more casting news is coming out of next year’s Justice League as Warner Bros. has just announced that Lex Luthor will be returning to the film along with a key character from next summer’s Wonder Woman film. So things seem to be shaping up for Zack Snyder’s team-up film.

Batman-News has already got their hands on the press kit from Warner Bros. that has some pretty interesting casting details on Justice League. For one thing, Jesse Eisenberg will be reprising his role as arch villain Lex Luthor. We also have Diane Lane making her return as Martha Kent in the upcoming film. The biggest piece of information is actress Connie Nielsen, who will come back to play the role of Queen Hippolyta. We will first see Diana Prince’s mother in Wonder Woman before seeing her daughter fight along with the rest of the League.

If these reports are correct, we may see Queen Hippolyta in a flashback involving the three Mother Boxes being split with the Amazonians, Atlanteans, and humans. We should be expecting more developments in the coming months leading up to the film. What do you guys think of these additions to the cast?
