JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017): Ciaran Hinds to Play Villain Steppenwolf

Ciaran Hinds Steppenwolf

Ciaran Hinds Cast to Play Steppenwolf in Justice League

Steppenwolf finally has a face as Warner Bros. has just casted Ciaran Hinds to portray the main villain in Justice League. The Game of Thrones actor will get to play the comic book character who has ties to Darkseid as he tries to gather all the Mother Boxes in the film.

Ever since the announcement that Steppenwolf would be the Big Bad for the Justice League, there have been mixed feelings with the fans. Regardless, we know that the Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance star will be playing the character. TheWrap first reported the casting news, as the outlet revealed that Ciaran Hinds has already finished filming his motion capture role just recently.

Audiences first got a peek of Steppenwolf in a deleted scene from Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, even though it was all CGI. It seems that his appearance will be getting an upgrade by the time we see him on Justice League. We don’t know much on what Steppenwolf’s true motives are, but we do know that he will be going after all three of the Mother Boxes, one of which is inside Justice League member Cyborg.
