Trailer for Justice League: Throne of Atlantis Gets Released. Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment have just debuted the trailer for their next home release Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. Check out the trailer below and read on for more about the animated film.

In the new movie, the Earth’s ocean becomes a threat to humanity and the newly formed Justice League bands together to fight its inhabitants. Meanwhile, a drifter named Arthur Curry displays some extraordinary abilities with ties to the ancient city of Atlantis as he must become the bridge between our world and Atlantis. Arhtur Curry soon joins the Justice League to fight against his brother Orm AKA the Ocean Master and his army of sea creatures. In this brand new adventure, we discover the origin of Aquaman as he becomes mankind’s only hope for survival.

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis stars Matt Lanter as Arthur Curry in Aquaman’s first solo animated adventure. The film also stars Jason O’Mara as Batman, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Sean Astin as Shazam, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Sam Witwer as Aquaman’s nefarious brother Orm, and Sumalee Montano as his future wife Mera.

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis will release in digital format on January 13 and comes out on Blu-ray and DVD on January 27, 2015. Are you guys excited to see Aquaman in his first solo animated movie?
