The Legend of Master Legend: Real-Life Superhero Comedy in the Works [Amazon]

Master Legend and Ace

Amazon Developing Superhero Comedy Series The Legend of Master Legend. It appears that TV’s superhero craze has spread onto web platform Amazon as they are developing a half-hour comedy series called The Legend of Master Legend, based on a real story.

Reported exclusively by TVLine, the series would be inspired by a real-life superhero known as Master Legend who made in the headlines in 2008 when his profile was on Rolling Stone. In the article, it addressed a vigilante in Orlando who dons a silver and black uniform patrolling the streets, giving to charity, and allegedly assisted law enforcement in apprehending criminals. He even happens to have a sidekick named Ace. Master Legend’s fighting technique has been called “The Way of the Diamond Spirit”, which the hero said is “an evolution of hand-to-hand combat.” His ultimate weapon is a potato gun, which he dubbed his Master Blaster.

Amazon hasn’t commented on the potential project since the news broke. What do you guys think of this show? Has it peaked your interest?
