Legends of Tomorrow Casts Lance Henriksen As Obsidian. Another member of the Justice Society of America has been cast in Legends of Tomorrow as The CW superhero team-up casts veteran actor Lance Henriksen as the shadow-wielding hero Obsidian.

Legends of Tomorrow have been slowly weaving together the Justice Society of America for season two, and Comic Book Resources has confirmed that Alien’s Lance Henriksen is the latest addition to the cast as the actor will portray member Obsidian. In the comics, Obsidian became a member of the JSA in 2007 and has the power to merge with his own shadow in order to fly, phase through solid objects, and even be able to possess other people’s shadows.

Other members of the team have been cast, including Sarah Grey as Stargirl, Patrick J. Adams as Hourman, Matthew MacCaull as Commander Steel, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen. Doctor Mid-Nite will also be a part of the team, but no casting has been announced yet.
