For season two of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of Super-Villains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries. “Being huge fans of the Challenge of the Superfriends, we’ve come to call this group our ‘Legion of Doom.’

The team will also be recruiting some help from the Justice Society of America to stop the evil group. Teased during the season finale with the appearance of Hourman, the JSA will comprise of Stargirl, Obsidian, and Dr. Mid-Nite as they fight alongside Hourman. Courtney Whitmore takes the mantle of Stargirl in the comics after gaining the powers from a powerful cosmic staff given to her by Starman. Obsidian is introduced in the comics as the son of Green Lantern Alan Scott who possesses the ability to become a strong shadow. Dr. Mid-Nite is a vigilante physician who can only see in complete darkness.

It will be great to see the team of this generation and the heroes of the Golden Era take on the Legion of Doom. Are you guys excited to see the Legion of Doom coming to Legends of Tomorrow for season two?
