Matthew MacCaull Commander Steel

Legends of Tomorrow Hires Matthew MacCaull to Play Commander Steel. The Justice Society of America is finally coming together as The CW has cast iZombie’s Matthew MacCaull to play member Commander Steel in the second season of Legends of Tomorrow.

Entertainment Weekly reported that MacCaull would be playing Henry Heywood Sr., better known as Commander Steel for the superhero series’ second season. The superhero will be the grandfather of Nick Zano’s character Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel. In the comics, Steel has been played by three characters, starting with Henry Heywood back in World War II. With Commander Steel, it pretty much confirms that most of the members of Justice Society of America will be comprised of 40s heroes, including Housman, Citizen Steel, Star-Girl, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Obsidian.
