LEGION: Superhero TV Series Gets a Second Season [FX]

Dan Stevens Chapter 5 Legion

FX and Marvel Renews Legion for Season Two

FX and Marvel has just announced that they’re renewing their X-Men spin-off series Legion for a second season. Expect to see more adventures of David Haller (Dan Stevens) when Legion returns for a brand new season sometime next year.

Fans should be happy that Noah Hawley’s take on the comic book character Legion will be coming back for another mind-bending season. FX Presidents of Original Programming, Eric Schrier and Nick Grad shared the news in a press release. “The first season of Legion was a stunning achievement,” said Schrier. He also added:

More than a new series, Legion is a wholly original take on the super hero genre. Our thanks to Noah Hawley for taking the creative risks and shattering expectations. It’s a privilege to work again with Noah, his producing partners, the outstanding cast and our partners at Marvel Television on another season of Legion.

Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb also released a statement on the good news for the new season pick-up. “We are thrilled there will be a new season of Legion. Noah’s spectacular take on David Haller and all the other characters he brought to life makes us ache for more. We’re particularly proud of our partners at FX and the success we share on our first TV series together.”

The new series has been getting highly positive reviews from critics and viewers. Legion is still airing on FX with only two episodes left in the first season. Are you glad that Legion is coming back for season two?
