3 The Lego Batman Movie TV Spots

Warner Bros. has premiered three movie TV commercials for The Lego Batman Movie (2017). The extended TV spot features The Joker and his thralls, “the worst villains in the universe.” They are some of the goofiest clowns the viewer may have ever seen, even worse than the fools in Suicide Squad. In the case of the villains in The Lego Batman Movie, it was intentional.

The other two TV spots are humorous, giving an over-all of impression of what the viewer can expect (humor and laughs galore) from the film.

The Lego Batman Movie‘s plot synopsis: “In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO® Batman Movie.” But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.”

Chris McKay‘s The Lego Batman Movie stars Michael Cera, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Zach Galifianakis, Rosario Dawson, and Ralph Fiennes.

On who is playing what character in The Lego Batman Movie:

Will Arnett reprises his role as Batman, a.k.a. Bruce Wayne. Zach Galifianakis stars as The Joker; Michael Cera as Robin, a.k.a. Dick Grayson; Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, a.k.a. Barbara Gordon; and Ralph Fiennes as Alfred.
