Daniel Espinosa‘s Life (2017) U.S. movie trailer and international movie trailer star Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Ariyon Bakare. Life‘s plot synopsis: “Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.”

Life has assembled a stellar cast for this space station thriller. At first I thought this film would be about an incident in space à la Gravity but I was wrong. There is a lot more going on in Life than a satellite rescue operation. Hiroyuki Sanada, who starred in space drama Sunshine, also adds to that conclusion.

Besides the reaction to the experiment gone awry, what has John McKay (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Jack Harrison (Ryan Reynolds) at each other’s throat.

And that is just in the U.S. trailer for Life. The international trailer is filled with thriller escalation from beginning to end. The U.S. trailer is a Hollywood trailer, with a great moment at its end that leaves a lasting impression on the viewer.

Life also stars Alexandre Nguyen and Olga Dihovichnaya.
