Anne Hathaway Cast in Live Fast Die Hot

Anne Hathaway has been set to star in the film adaptation of Jenny Mollen‘s novel Live Fast Die Hot. Hathway will portray real-life New York writer and actress Mollen, an eccentric who was forced to grow up following the birth of her son Sid Mollen.

The 272-page book is a series of essays that Mollen wrote about her life, including one detailing her invite to her “drug dealer to Passover seder (so he wouldn’t feel like they were using him only for drugs).”

Regarding the other essays in Live Fast Die Hot:

It follows Jenny to Morocco, where she embarks on a quest to prove to herself that she can travel alone without reenacting a plotline from Taken. It shows her confronting demons—most of them from childhood, a few from the spirit realm. And it culminates in Peru, where Jenny decides that maybe the cure for her anxiety as a mom lies at the bottom of a cup of ayahuasca.

Warner Bros.’s Chantal Nong will oversee Live Fast Die Hot for the studio. Live Fast Die Hot currently has no script writer. The film version of Live Fast Die Hot has no set released date.
