Logan Official Plot Synopsis and New Images

The official plot synopsis and new movie images for Logan (2017) has been released. The synopsis pretty much tells and confirms to the reader what they already surmised from the first trailer for this film. It’s the new piece of information that is so tantalizing. It evolves the setting for the film. The setting for Logan takes place on the Unites States / Mexican border, alluding to the fact that Logan (Hugh Jackman) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) are stuck between two worlds, two cultures.

In the trailer, Logan talked about how mutants were dying off and how things were changing. The official setting for the film are in sync with those statements.

Hugh Jackman made the synopsis announcement on his official Twitter account:

Logan‘s official plot synopsis:

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border.

But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

This is the plot synopsis for Logan from 20th Century Fox released months back: “Set in the future, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men when a corporation lead by Nathaniel Essex is bent on destroying the world. With Logan’s healing abilities slowly fading away and Xavier’s Alzheimer’s forcing him to forget, Logan must defeat Nathaniel Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine.”

There is far more detail in the latter plot synopsis than the former.
