This looks like a fantastic drama. I have heard about this true life story before in news programs but seeing the minutiae of it is fascinating. With so much in the news recently about race and race relations between white police officers and black citizens, the release of this film is very timely. Loving attacks its issues in a poignant way rather than giving them a horrific tone e.g. the first trailer The Birth of a Nation.

How is it that the police, instead of knocking, could break into a person’s home to question them (even in that time period) without a warrant? The police in this trailer literally broke through locks to get to the slumbering inhabitants (the Lovings) of a home.

Loving also stars Bill Camp, Terri Abney, Alano Miller, David Jensen, Jon Bass, Scott Wichmann, Christopher Mann, Smith Harrison, Sharon Blackwood, and Michael Abbott Jr.
