Scarlett Johannsson cast in Lucy. The casting of Scarlett Johansson in Lucy answers the question of who would play the lead female role in Luc Besson next action film. Luc Besson wrote the script for Lucy but their is no word on whether or not he will direct the thriller movie. Besson is currently slated to produce the film with his EuropaCorp CEO Christophe Lambert. Scarlett Johansson is currently filming Captain America: The Winter Soldier and will shoot Lucy directly after it.

The plotline of Lucy:

Lucy, which centers on a woman forced to become a drug mule. But the drug instead goes into her system, transforming her into an ass-kicking machine. She can absorb knowledge instantaneously, is able to move objects with her mind and can’t feel pain and other discomforts.

Sounds interesting. So she becomes a mutant through drugs.
