LUKE CAGE: New Poster and Trailer Shows Off Luke Cage in the Streets [Netflix]

Luke Cage Poster

Luke Cage Protects His City in New Poster and Trailer. Marvel and Netflix has unleashed a new poster and trailer for next month’s Luke Cage, which shows Mike Colter flexing his muscles as Power Man protecting Harlem, but apparently the city isn’t as bulletproof like he is.

In the new trailer for Luke Cage, we get a lot more action than the teaser from San Diego Comic Con. The trailer and poster do give us a glimpse into the classic costume that Luke will be wearing in the series. If you look at the beginning of the trailer, we also find out that our titular hero will have an origin story embedded into the series showing us how the man got his powers. We are also introduced to other characters in the series, like Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard), Shades (Theo Rossi), Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and the villain Cottonmouth (Mahershala Ali). The show also brings back Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) from the other Netflix shows to bridge the Marvel TV universe together.
