The plot of Machete Kills:

Machete Kills picks back up with Trejo’s ex-federale character, who’s been recruited by the U.S. government for a very special mission. Machete’s job is to prevent global war by taking down two targets: A terrorist and cartel leader named Mendez the Madman, and a sinister billionaire arms leader named Luther Voz (Gibson) who plots to create worldwide anarchy by launching a missile.
