MARVEL’S MOST WANTED: Agents of SHIELD Spin-off in Development [ABC]

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Marvel’s Most Wanted Gets Pilot Order. ABC is giving another go for a potential spin-off based off of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. after scrapping it last May. The potential series, titled Marvel’s Most Wanted, will focus on Mockingbird and Lance Hunter.

Variety first reported that the network would is closing in on a deal to order the pilot for Marvel’s Most Wanted after putting the series on hold earlier this year. The series will have Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood reprising their roles of Bobbi Morse AKA Mockingbird and Lance Hunter from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The spin-off was announced earlier last April but never got picked up during new series pickups for the fall.

The project will be co-created by Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski, who are also going to co-write the pilot. The two Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. writers will also serve as showrunners for the spin-off. No information yet on the plot, but the site revealed that “the series is not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story.”

It all seems interesting, but we won’t know till the show gets off the ground and gets a series order by ABC. What do you guys think? Would you be willing to watch a show revolving around Mockingbird and her partner/lover Lance Hunter?
