MARVEL’S MOST WANTED: ABC Passes on Spin-off Series

ABC Passes on Spin-off Series Marvel’s Most Wanted. It looks like Marvel’s Most Wanted won’t be getting a second life as ABC announced that they won’t pick up the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. offshoot for next season. This certainly leaves the fate of Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter up in the air.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke news that the spin-off would not be picked up by ABC. We last saw Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) as they were disavowed from S.H.I.E.L.D. on the mothership series and were forced on the run. It’s as if their farewell sendoff was all for nothing for the writers. Perhaps with the spin-off not getting picked up, maybe we may get to see these two rejoin Coulson and the group down the line? It would be such a waste if the characters don’t make a return to the series sometime in the near future.
