Metro Trailer, Photos, Clip. Anton Megerdichev‘s Metro / Metpo (2012) movie trailer, movie photos, movie clip star Alex Bardukov, Anatoly Bely, Anfisa Medvedev, Elena Panova, Sergei Puskepalis, and Svetlana Khodchenkova. Metro‘s plot synopsis: the “Film is set in the Moscow subway system, a system on the verge of collapse due to a water leak that sends the Moscow River racing through the tunnels. The problem, of course, is that the tunnels run under much of the city and if they collapse then so do the buildings on top.”

I was very impressed by the trailer for this film and the clip was good as well. There are many personalities stuck down in that train tunnel.

More on the trailer and the clip:

yes, Megerdichev’s technical abilities are on full display what is really impressive here to tell a compelling story with complex characters shining through in the middle of chaos with the use of absolutely bare minimum dialogue.

There is the public panicking to get out of the train cars and rush to safety, the shifting tunnels, the water levels slowly rising towards the electrified third rail, opportunists looting the injured, parents frantically trying to find missing children … there is a tremendous amount happening
