Miss Hokusai is one of the most beautiful hand drawn animated films that I have seen in years. The level of detail is incredible. I recently watched Batman: The Killing Joke and was completely disappointed by the low-ball animation. Miss Hokusai is on the absolute other end of that spectrum. The viewer can see the craftmanship that went into each and ever frame. I was immediately reminded of the grandeur of Princess Mononoke while watching this trailer.
