Luke Scott’s Morgan (2016) teaser trailer and movie poster star Rose Leslie, Kate Mara, Anya Taylor-Joy, Paul Giamatti, and Toby Jones. Morgan‘s plot synopsis: “Morgan is about a corporate risk-management consultant (Kate Mara) who has to decide and determine whether or not to terminate an artificial being’s life that was made in a laboratory environment.”

The poster carries the ominous tagline – “Don’t let it out,” begging the questions: What is “it”? Who’s playing Morgan? My guess is Anya Taylor-Joy. 20th Century Fox has done a good job of not showing the viewer what Morgan is or what “it” looks like…in the trailer.

Produced by Ridley Scott, the high-end nature of the production is evident half-way through the Morgan teaser trailer. Fox has created interest and dread with a well-crafted teaser trailer, except for its last shot.

They gave away something big with that one shot. It should not have been included in the trailer. The people that put this trailer together just couldn’t help themselves, they had to give something away from the third act of the film. They contaminated their own teaser trailer with a spoiler.

Morgan also stars Boyd Holbrook, Sam Spruell, Chris Sullivan, Jonathan Aris, Vinette Robinson, Charlotte Asprey, and Michael Yare.
