Movie Trailers for Wolf Warrior 2, Game Night, Hostiles, and More Films

New teaser trailers and full movie trailers for mainstream, independent, and documentary films have been released by numerous movie studios. These movies include: Wolf Warrior 2, Hollow in the Land, Hostiles, Game Night, and The Shape of Water.

Hostiles Trailer 2

Hostiles‘ plot synopsis: “the raw and compelling tale of an embittered and battle-hardened US Cavalry officer ordered to accompany a Cheyenne war chief and his family back to their tribal lands in Montana. The flinty-eyed Captain Blocker (Christian Bale) has seen more than his fair share of violence and bloodletting on the frontier, but this mission, which he is forced to accept, is a particularly bitter pill to swallow: Chief Yellow Hawk (Wes Studi) has been his mortal enemy for years due to a conflict that killed many of Blocker’s friends. The Chief has also lost friends in the conflict.

Setting out through dangerous territory, much of it inhabited by hostile tribes, the small band of soldiers and Cheyenne navigate the beautiful prairies and wilds of the west, while facing a series of challenges. Blocker — much like John Wayne’s character in the John Ford classic The Searchers — is a racist, a man who harbours a deep hatred towards the former prisoners now placed in his care. As the challenges mount, Blocker is forced to confront his own bigotry while carrying out his orders. To complicate matters, the ragged party is joined by a stricken widow (Rosamund Pike) who has just seen her family massacred in a raid.”

Scott Cooper‘s Hostiles (2017) stars Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike, Peter Mullan, Ben Foster, Jesse Plemons, Stephen Lang, Paul Anderson, Q’orianka Kilcher, Rory Cochrane, Timothée Chalamet, Scott Wilson, Tanaya Beatty, Adam Beach, Wes Studi, and Bill Camp.

Hostiles will be released in limited U.S. theaters through Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures on December 22, 2017.

The Shape of Water Red Band Trailer 2

The Shape of Water‘s plot synopsis: “An other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda discover a secret classified experiment.”

The Shape of Water stars Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, Doug Jones, Lauren Lee Smith, John Kapelos, David Hewlett, Nick Searcy, Morgan Kelly, Cyndy Day, Madison Ferguson, Dru Viergever, and Jayden Greig.

The Shape of Water will be released in U.S. theaters through Fox Searchlight Pictures on December 8, 2017.

Game Night Trailer

Game Night‘s plot synopsis: “Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams star as Max and Annie, whose weekly couples game night gets kicked up a notch when Max’s charismatic brother, Brooks (Kyle Chandler), arranges a murder mystery party, complete with fake thugs and faux federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it’s all part of the game… right?

But as the six uber-competitive gamers set out to solve the case and win, they begin to discover that neither this “game” — nor Brooks — are what they seem to be. Over the course of one chaotic night, the friends find themselves increasingly in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn. With no rules, no points, and no idea who all the players are, this could turn out to be the most fun they’ve ever had… or game over.”

John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein‘s Game Night (2018) stars Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, Kyle Chandler, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Billy Magnussen, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons, Danny Huston, and Michael C. Hall.

Game Night will be released in U.S. theaters through Warner Bros. on March 2, 2018.

But when he crosses paths with a sadistic band of mercenaries terrorizing innocent civilians, he must reaffirm his duty as a soldier and save the day once again. Fists (and bullets, tanks, missiles and much more) will fly in this adrenaline-fueled tour de force of bravura action filmmaking, all culminating into a climatic battle between the Wolf Warrior and the mercenary leader (Frank Grillo, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War).”

Hollow in the Land International Trailer

Hollow in the Land‘s plot synopsis: “With her father in jail and her mother having left when she was young, Alison Miller is the matriarch of the family watching over her only sibling Brandon. But on the anniversary of their father’s crimes, their family is pushed to its limits: a dead man has been found in a trailer park and Brandon is missing from the scene of the crime. In a race against time, Alison must find Brandon and unearth the truth before he ends up behind bars or inside a casket. But the harder she looks, the more people turn up dead, and Alison soon becomes a suspect herself. On the brink of losing everything, on the run from the law, and living up to the Miller stigma, she is desperate to reveal the truth, but secrets get buried deep in this town and if she’s not careful, she’ll get buried with them…”
