MTV Movie Awards 2016: Nominations: STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, DEADPOOL, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

MTV Movie Awards 2016 Logo

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Deadpool, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the other nominations for the 2016 MTV Movie Awards have been announced. The 25th Annual MTV Movie Awards is “a film awards show presented annually on MTV…The nominees are decided by producers and executives at MTV. Winners are decided online by the general public.”

It is not a surprise that the crowd-pleasing films dominated the nominations for the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. They usually do e.g. The Twilight Saga. Star Wars: The Force Awakens captured the most nominations with eleven nominations. Deadpool garnered eight nominations while Avengers: Age of Ultron got six. Straight Outta Compton and Jurassic World both grabbed three nominations a piece.

I predict Star War: The Force Awakens winning the major categories like Movie of the Year with Deadpool winning for Best Fight. Deadpool was so hilarious and ridiculous (in a good way) that it also might when for Best Kiss.

The MTV movie awards are fan awarded. Fans of the nominated films can vote right now at MovieAwards.MTV.com for the film (or films) that the want to win.
