A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) Teaser Trailer has premiered. A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) is a horror remake film directed by Samuel Bayer and stars Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger and Rooney Mara as Nancy Thompson. A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) plot synopsis: “A group of suburban teenagers are being haunted in their dreams by a “horribly disfigured killer” known as Freddy Krueger, a child serial killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality.” Check it out below and leave your thoughts on it.

Normally I would be excited, very excited by this A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) Teaser Trailer but after the astronomical disappointment of Friday the 13th (2009), being beguiling by a flashy remake’s trailer is not going to happen anymore. A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) opens April 30, 2010.

I don't get it...is Freddy supposed to be innocent at the beginning of this version? He desparately asks the parents "what" he "did," saying he did not do anything...? Was he framed by someone else and just became evil after he was burned to death? Will there be more backstory on this in the film? I hope so, or it just won't make sense, and will make the new movie lousy. If anyone has any thoughts on this, please share.
Being a huge Nightmare On Elm Street fan, I would really like to find this out.

they really just need to stop making remakes. The first one was a classic just leave it at that, they make all these silly remakes and there just know good. Rember freddy vs Jason that was one of the worst films ever. Mayby it just me but I reakon this will be a flop you can just tell, look at friday the 13th I could tell that was going to be a flop straight away.
  • That won't happen because there is money to be made.

The first one was classic. The plot was pretty unique.

The Texas remake and Hills remake were pretty good. I liked the Hills remake more than the original.

Freddy vs. Jason has one of the best horror scripts you'll ever read. Then didn't film the script. They chopped it up, added holes where their were none. It was really sad.

The Friday remake was garbage and deserved to flop.
  • It's not too bad until u get to the end and realize...Freddy might be innocent?!? that weird voice and the 1st degree burnt face.

    My other thoughts here

  • I love that voice he speaks in because his mouth and tongue were burned. A nice tweak to Freddy.
  • I was getting into it but then realized Michael Bay is attached to it, so I'm on the fence really. I didn't like the reboot of Texas Chainsaw or the Jason movies so I'll have to wait it out. A really good teaser trailer can be misleading...
  • I agreed, very misleading.

I liked the first two acts of the Texas remake though before the censorship began.
